Join us for the 12th Annual GIS Networking & Career Fair!

The goal of this event is to build a bridge between GIS students and employers around the region.

Vendor Registration

If your organization is interested in attending, you'll need to register for a booth. Click the link below to register. All vendor registrations should be submitted no later than Monday, March 25th.

Student RSVP

If you'll be attending the GIS Career and Networking Fair as a student, please RSVP with the link provided below. On this form, you may indicate whether or not you'll be participating in the Resume Review and/or Poster Contest.

Resume Review

Resume Review openings are limited and time slots are 15 minutes, sign up on the Student RSVP form.

U-Spatial Poster Contest

Students are invited to showcase their work in GIS in the poster session! To be entered into the competition, you'll need to sign up on the Student RSVP form. If you will need printing services for your poster, there will be an opportunity to print a limited number of posters if you contact GISSO president Lucas Winzenburg no later than Monday, March 25th at gisso@umn.edu

Poster Contest Prizes

  • 1st place: $50 gift card
  • 2nd place: $30 gift card
  • 3rd place: $20 gift card

Student Presentations

Students are invited to prepare 10-15 minute presentations on a GIS subject they are researching. Presentation slots are limited. Please RSVP as soon as possible and we will contact you for further discussion. Email gisso@umn.edu with any questions.

  • 2:00 - 2:30 pm - Tracy Kugler: Terra Populus, University of Minnesota

  • 3:45 pm - Poster Competition Winner Announced
  • 3:45 pm - Vendor Booth take-down
